1. Scope

This page describes information related to Word Vocabulary on Android and iOS, your privacy choices, and how to request deletion of game-related data or an account.

2. Game data and services

  • On-device data: your current puzzle, solved words, collection, stamps, settings, and Remove Ads entitlement are stored on your device. Clearing app data or uninstalling may remove local progress.
  • Player map: browsing the map creates or reuses an anonymous Unity Authentication visitor session to fetch public profiles. It does not automatically publish your name, photo, or progress. Previously fetched map data and portraits may remain in an offline cache.
  • Optional sharing: if you choose Connect & share, the game uses your Google Play Games (Android) or Game Center (iOS) name and picture with a Unity player ID, highest completed stage, and update time to show your profile to other players on the map.
  • Ads and purchases: the free game displays bottom banners on gameplay and stage selection screens. Unity LevelPlay and ad providers may process device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostics. Google Play (Android), Apple App Store (iOS), and Unity IAP may process device, session, country, and purchase data for Remove Ads. The game does not receive payment card numbers.
  • Analytics: Unity Analytics stays off until you enable it in Settings → Analytics choices. Once enabled, gameplay and usage events may be sent with pseudonymous installation/session identifiers, device/app information, and approximate country. The game's custom fields exclude names, email, typed text, exact drag coordinates, receipts, and raw error messages.

3. Purpose and retention

Data supports saved play, pronunciation, map and chosen profile sharing, purchases, ads, and game improvement if you opt into Analytics. Local data remains until you clear app data or uninstall. Unity, Google Play, Apple, and ad providers may retain their records under their own policies. Some purchase records may be retained under store requirements or law.

4. Your in-game choices

You can turn Analytics off and request deletion of this installation's Analytics data through a confirmed in-game action. A request is not confirmation that backend deletion has finished; it does not delete advertising, store, or other-installation records. Pause syncing stops new profile uploads but does not remove an already published profile.

Remove shared profile removes your public name, photo, and stage position from the map and stops automatic publication. A minimal opt-out marker and private best-progress entry remain so a later explicit reconnect does not lower your progress. Other devices may show older cached data until they refresh.

5. How to request data and account deletion

To remove local data, use the game's confirmed reset or clear app data/uninstall through Android, or Delete App on iOS (Offload App keeps local data). This does not remove store or SDK records.

To request deletion of a Unity Authentication account or online data related to Word Vocabulary, email support@hearrotech.com with the subject “Word Vocabulary data or account deletion request.” Include your Unity Player ID or only the Google Play Games or Game Center account details needed to locate your shared profile, and describe the data you want deleted. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or payment-card details. We may ask for additional evidence to verify ownership before acting.

The request covers identifiable account and online profile data under our control, including a check for data remaining after Remove shared profile. You must remove on-device data on your own device. Purchase data or other records required by providers or law may remain. We will reply by email with the outcome and any applicable limitations.
